Do you want to be involved in the decisions that affect your business and livelihood? Would you like to participate in planning activities? Then join a BNAR committee. Here is a description of our committees and a roster of members.
Agents’ Day
Participate in the planning of the Agents’ Day & Trade Show.
Education
Provide personal and professional development.
Forms & Contracts
Review real estate forms & contracts that are consistent with law and uniform in nature.
Green
To encourage real estate professionals to be advocates in spreading the green philosophy to its members and the public.
Grievance
Receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if a hearing is warranted.
Note: Limited number and diversified companies on Committee. Members chosen to be on these committees are required to take the NYSAR Professional Standards Training Seminar.
Housing Opportunities
To expand members and the public’s knowledge on the opportunities and advantages of homeownership.
Legislative/Public Affairs
Identify key issues and be industry advocates; encourage and develop member involvement in the political process.
Mediation
Resolves disputes, promoting amicable resolutions, and reduces the number of cases requiring the more formal and complex arbitration process. (Mediation training is necessary.)
Membership
Promote the value of the BNAR to the members and encourage member involvement in the Association. Identify and review products, services and discounts available to BNAR members.
REALTOR® Issues
Identify different business issues and how to work with them. Identify and educate members on issues that affect real estate.
RPAC
Spread the word about RPAC and increase contributions and contributors.
Technology
Review and educate members on real estate technology and products/tools used.
Professional Standards
Holds hearings to make decisions on matters involving ethics or arbitration.

Young Professionals Network
For the young or young at heart a personal and professional development program that encourages YP’s to take ownership in the community and gives opportunities to grow so they are inspired to lead with enthusiasm, determination and passion.
