Community Connections
Our 2011 President, Alice Miranda, chose her initiatives for 2011 and we will be partnering with
- the Salvation Army to serve food to the homeless during the cold months of September through April;
- with Re-Tree to plant trees that were damaged or died during the October Storm in addition selling leaves to defray the costs of purchasing trees;
- with Empty Bowls by participating in their event on May 22 to benefit the Food Bank of WNY and Friends of the Night People;
- and the Food Bank of WNY by collecting different non-perishable food items each month.
So if you are stopping by the BNAR, drop off your food item, or contact dnorman@bnar.org to participate in our initiatives.
REALTORS® Connect to Charities

The intent of the REALTORS® Connecting to Charities is for REALTORS® to print this list of agencies that are in need of charitable items for their clients so they can donate unwanted or no longer needed items to charities rather than leaving them at the curb or throwing them out. REALTORS® care about their communities and the environment and will continue to recycle and become more "green"
Items in need could be, but not limited to, furniture, appliances, toiletries, clothing, linens, suitcases, backpacks, silverware, dishware, awn/snow care, mattresses, children’s furniture, toys/games, books, knick knacks, office equipment, office furniture, cleaning supplies. A pdf list has been provided and will be updated as new agencies sign up. You can also access the various websites when you open up the file for the list by clicking on the charity name.
