in BNAR is an excellent decision that provides you with a return on your

Designated REALTOR® – these individuals hold a license
issued by New York State and are the sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer
or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firms’ principals. A Designated
Realtor is usually the owner of the company and is eligible to vote for

REALTOR® – these individuals hold a license issued by New York
State and are engaged in the real estate profession other than as sole
proprietors, partners, corporate, officers or branch office managers. Realtors
are eligible to vote in Director Elections. Application and Fees
REALTOR ASSOCIATE® – these individuals hold a license issued by
New York State and are engaged in the real estate profession other than as
principals, partners, or corporate officers. Salesmen and other associates of a
real estate office are employed by, or affiliated as an independent contractor.

INSTITUTIONAL –
these individuals are usually engaged in professions and enterprises allied to
real estate such as mortgage broker, mortgage banker, title company, surveyor,
home inspector, real estate appraiser, or attorney. Application and Fees

–
these individuals are unlicensed and are usually employees of a member or the
Realtor or Institutional BNAR member. Application and Fees
PUBLIC SERVICE –
these individuals are interested in the real estate profession as employees of
or affiliated with educational, public utility, governmental or similar

Retired –
these individuals have the same rights and privileges as affiliate members
except retired members may hold a real estate license.
Realtor Emeritus – these Realtor members have
held membership in this association for a cumulative period of 40 years or who
are designated by the National Association of Realtors and certified by the BNAR
Board of Directors.
