ASSOCIATION’S 2010 RPAC GOAL ACHIEVED
Despite having one its highest financial targets, the BNAR achieved this year’s RPAC goal and set a record in doing so. $40,737 was taken in by June 1st, surpassing the objective of $40,140. The BNAR has never hit its goal this early, surpassing the previous mark by more than 3 months. Another objective which is within reach – the participation goal – is only 95 donors away. 807 members have given to this year’s RPAC. The BNAR has never achieved both the financial and contributor goals in one year, and the chairs are diligently working to be the first to do so. Chairperson Lou Vinci and Vice Chair Lisa Avery will introduce programs in the upcoming months which will promote new contributors.
The question now is: Why give if the Association has hit its goal? It is even more beneficial since 100% of the RPAC dollars contributed stay with the local organization for its own use. And this being an important election year for state races, we need to make our voices heard to retain our friends and remove those legislators who hinder property rights. (Until the goal is achieved, 45% goes to the state organization, 30% to NAR, and 25% is used locally.)
Remember: RPAC is the life-blood of the BNAR’s political affairs effort. Every contribution goes toward protecting your livelihood and improving your community.
