REALTOR ASSOCIATE®
These individuals hold a license issued by New York State and are engaged in the real estate profession other than as principals, partners, or corporate officers. Salesmen and other associates of a real estate office are employed by, or affiliated as an independent contractor.
Designated REALTOR®
These individuals hold a license issued by New York State and are the real estate appraiser, sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firms’ principals. A Designated REALTOR® is usually the owner of the company and is eligible to vote for Director.
REALTOR®
These individuals hold a license issued by New York State and are engaged in the real estate profession other than as sole proprietors, partners, corporate officers or branch office managers. REALTORS® are eligible to vote in Director Elections.
Designated MLS
These individuals hold a broker’s license issued by New York State and Designated REALTOR® status in another Association of REALTORS and are applying for MLS access in Western New York Real Estate information Service, LLC. MLS Member
These individuals hold an Associate-broker or Salesperson license issued by New York State and have REALTOR® or Realtor-Associate status in another Association of REALTORS and are applying for MLS access in Western New York Real Estate information Service, LLC.
Affiliate
These individuals are unlicensed and usually with Banks, Mortgage Companies.
Public Service
These individuals are interested in the real estate profession as employees of or affiliated with educational, public utility, governmental or similar organizations.
REALTOR® Emeritus
These REALTOR® members have held membership in this association for a cumulative period of 40 years and have served on a NAR committee, or who are designated by the National Association of Realtors and certified by the BNAR Board of Directors.
